We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative for our Los Angeles market specializing in tankless and heat pump water heaters. This individual will perform in-home consultations, educate homeowners on water heating solutions, and close sales while providing a professional, high-quality customer experience. The ideal candidate has a strong background in direct-to-consumer in-home sales and a general understanding of home plumbing systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-home consultations with prospective customers to assess needs and recommend tankless and heat pump water heating solutions.
• Provide expert product knowledge and demonstrate the value of energy-efficient water heating systems.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, ensuring a professional and trustworthy experience.
• Accurately prepare quotes, proposals, and contracts for prospective customers.
• Meet or exceed regional sales goals and KPIs.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, leads, and sales activities in the company CRM system.
• Collaborate with installation teams to ensure smooth project handoffs and exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Stay informed of industry trends, competitor products, and technological advancements in water heating systems.
• Participate in regional sales meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development.

Compensation:

• Base salary: $65,000 / On Target Earnings of $125,000.00
• Performance-based incentives with un-capped bonus potential Competitive base salary plus commission and performance-based incentives.
• Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement depending on territory.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in direct-to-consumer in-home sales, preferably in home services or related industries.
• General knowledge of home plumbing systems and water heater installation processes.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor with the ability to build trust and rapport with homeowners.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel within assigned territory.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule based on customer appointments.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (or equivalent tools).
• Valid and active CA State Driver’s License with insurable driving record [You must be at least 25 years of age, have driven 2+ years and have a good driving record. ]

Preferred:

• Experience selling tankless water heaters, heat pump water heaters, or other home energy systems.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations related to plumbing and water heating systems.

Service Area: Our service area is all over the Los Angeles area from Simi Valley to Central LA to Orange County area. Candidates should also have a safe place to park our company vehicle during off-hours. Will perform background checks with offer of employment.
