As a Permitting Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Technicians by preparing, compiling, and processing permits for our valued clients. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00pm – 4:30pm OR 9 am to 5:30 pm (with a 30-minute lunch).  

PAY: $19 - $22/hr  [DOE]

Responsibilities Include:

  • Take charge of the end-to-end permit acquisition process, meticulously researching, preparing, and submitting applications for various permits, licenses, and approvals.  
  • Electronic Archiving by scanning permits
  • Coordinate mailing and faxing of permits to customers
  • Provide support and answers to permit inquiries by phone and email
  • Collaborate with technicians and the sales floor to address permit-related issues
  • Follow proper escalation protocols as necessary

Required Skills:

  • Exceptional attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and key eye for details
  • Minimum of 1 year experience working with Microsoft Outlook & Excel, especially proficient in sort, export, and filter functions in Excel
  • Accurate data entry and strong analytical skills
  • Effective organization and time management abilities, meeting weekly deadlines [We process on average 30 to 50 permits per day]
  • Competency in retrieving permits online from city websites using a computer
  • Ability to handle confidential data with the utmost professionalism
  • Capable of working independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent phone and written communication skills

Required Certifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Successful completion of background and drug test.
