Description

Fast Water Heater Company is the largest and fastest-growing marketer of hot water heater and HVAC sales and services on the West Coast. We are also evolving and launching additional home services.  To support that growth, we are in a major expansion of our marketing and advertising activities and are seeking a Part-time Director of Marketing to assist with that effort. Our award-winning company has been in business for almost forty years, with sales and operations in Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, and the San Francisco Bay area. We are a member of Montlake Capital’s portfolio of companies and are well positioned for rapid expansion and future growth.

The preferred candidate is a seasoned marketing professional with significant experience in Consumer Marketing, particularly within the home services sector and PE (Private Equity) backed companies. In this position, the individual will play a crucial role in boosting sales and enhancing brand visibility across various platforms. The role requires collaboration with the VP of Sales and CEO to help devise and execute effective communication strategies spanning ecommerce, print, and media. Salary: $60K

Job Type: Part-time 4 to 5 hours daily, 20 hours weekly; Hybrid [Home up to 2 days a week] ** Could later develop into a full time role as company expands into other markets **

Job Requirements:

  • Analyze and measure campaign ROI results and deliver presentations on campaign plans and results to leadership team and Board of Directors. Direct change as needed to improve success.
  • Create and manage marketing communications to drive awareness and sales, including advertising, digital marketing and ecommerce, email marketing, social media marketing, direct mail advertising, and print and radio ads.
  • Determine and build campaign performance success metrics, analysis tools and relevant dashboards.
  • Proactively build collaboration and partnership with sales departments to deploy effective campaigns and results reporting.
  • Manage the marketing budget.
  • Work side-by-side with in-house digital marketing manager.


Qualifications:

  • Experience working with a range of outside providers and resources, including advertising agencies, free-lance contractors, media buyers, printers, mail houses, list brokers, and data analytics providers.
  • Experience with CRM platforms, and MOZ (or similar platforms)
  • Computer skills with MS Office suite and HTML experience required
  • BA/BS degree in Marketing or Business Administration; or equivalent related experience
  • Ability to create and promote brand awareness
  • 3+ years’ Mar-Comm experience (Notably with some graphic design; with tools and brand working)
  • 5+ years’ experience with campaign management
  • 3+ years’ experience managing enterprise integrated marketing campaigns
  • Experience building out and maturing marketing programs and/or departments
  • Ability to work independently as well as in team environments to deliver on overall company strategies
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and enjoy helping others
  • Excellent relationship building, interpersonal and influence skills with clients and colleagues.
  • Detail oriented with ability to work independently in fast-paced environment
